I never expected a basketball programme from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to become such a big part of my life, but here we are. A few winters ago, I stumbled across an Appalachian State Mountaineers game while flipping through streaming options late one night, and something about the energy in that arena hooked me immediately.
