Getty Fire 2019 Map - Free Printable PDF 2025

Remember October 2019? Los Angeles decided it hadn't been dramatic enough, so the Santa Ana winds showed up like an uninvited houseguest who immediately starts rearranging your furniture. The Getty Fire popped up near the 405 freeway, and overnight, every single Angeleno became a certified fire map analyst. Nobody asked for this career change, but here we were, squinting at evacuation zone maps like our lives depended on it — because, well, sort of.

Let's be honest with ourselves: the average person looking at the Getty Fire 2019 map understood exactly two things — where their house was, and whether flames were anywhere near it. Everything else? Firefighters eventually got the blaze contained, the map colors turned from alarming red back to boring beige, and everyone collectively exhaled. But if there's one thing 2019 proved, it's that when smoke rises over the Sepulveda Pass, the entire city will simultaneously open the same map,
