How Much Money Is A Ps3 - Free Printable PDF 2025

Righto, gather round, bargain hunters. You've got a hankering for some nostalgia, a hankering for Rocket-powered cars firing Blu-ray discs, and a hankering to know exactly how much damage a PlayStation 3 will do to your wallet in the year of our lord twenty-something. Well, strap yourselves in, because the answer is: not much, mate. Not much at all. The PS3, once the shiny centrepiece of every lounge room and the cause of many a sibling brawl, can now be yours for roughly the same price as a family-size meat lover's pizza and a cheeky six-pack. We're talking anywhere from $40 to $150 Aussie dollars depending on the condition, whether it comes with controllers, and whether the seller thinks they're sitting on a gold mine when they're really sitting on a console that sounds like a hovercraft taking off.

The Classic Price Hunt: Why Shopping Around Beats Paying Full Retail

The golden rule of buying a PS3 in this economy is simple: never pay the first price you see. Your local op shop might have one wedged between a fondue set and a boxed set of DVDs nobody wants. Facebook Marketplace is absolutely crawling with them, usually listed with the description "works fine" and a photo taken on a Nokia from 2004. Gumtree sellers will swear up and down their PS3 is "basically brand new, only used a few times" while handing you a console with more scratches than a cat caught in a revolving door. Aim for the $50 to $80 range with a controller included, and if someone wants $200 for a base model, politely wish them all the best and walk away like you're leaving a bad date.
