The Perfect Find Netflix

Right, gather round, because I've done it. After years of scrolling through the Netflix homepage like it's a Bunnings aisle at closing time — wandering, dazed, paralysed by choice — I finally found the perfect Netflix show. Not a good show. Not a decent show. The perfect show. The kind of find that makes you cancel your Saturday arvo plans, tell your mates you've come down with a mysterious illness, and settle into the couch like a wombat in a hollow log. I'm not even going to tell you what it is, because the journey to finding it was half the fun, and the other half was pretending I had self-control. Spoiler: I did not. The "Are you still watching?" prompt appeared so many times it may as well have been my new flatmate.

When Your Netflix Find Is So Good You Need a Recovery Activity

A Minecraft sheep colouring-in page featuring the blocky sheep character ready to be coloured

Here's the thing nobody warns you about: after a full weekend of binge-watching, your brain turns to a fine porridge. You can't string a sentence together. You stare at the kettle like it's asked you a question. That's when I discovered the genius move — printing off a Minecraft sheep colouring sheet and gently colouring my way back to reality. Fair dinkum, it works. There's something deeply therapeutic about shading in a blocky sheep while reflecting on the emotional damage your perfect Netflix find has inflicted on you. The kids reckon it's their activity. Little do they know it's my rehabilitation programme.
