What Network Is Seth Meyers On - Free Printable PDF 2025

There is a question that lingers in the dim glow of the post-midnight hour, whispered among insomniacs and comedy loyalists alike: what network is Seth Meyers on? The answer, unromantic as it may seem, carries weight. NBC. That is the fortress where the former Saturday Night Live head writer built his late-night empire, broadcasting Late Night with Seth Meyers weeknights at 12:35 a.m. Eastern. But the story beneath that simple answer is deeper, darker, and far more interesting than a channel number in a TV guide.

Where Late Night Comedy Blooms After Dark

Every night, when most of the world has gone dark, NBC's Studio 8G in Rockefeller Center flickers to life. Meyers inherited the chair from Jimmy Fallon, who inherited it from Conan O'Brien, who took it from David Letterman. It is a lineage stained with pressure and precedent. NBC bet on Meyers in 2014, and the gamble paid off. His sharp monologues, his beloved "A Closer Look" segments, and his dry, surgical wit turned a second-tier time slot into a legitimate stronghold. The network saw something in him that others overlooked, and in the ruthless economy of late-night television, that vision matters.

But let us be honest about the machinery. NBC does not exist solely on broadcast airwaves anymore. The Peacock streaming service, owned by the same parent company, carries full episodes of Late Night the morning after they air. The old guard networks have learned to survive in shadow, spreading their content across every glowing screen they can reach. So if you cut the cord, the answer shifts slightly: NBC live, Peacock on demand. Same voice, different vessel.
