Olympians, Pop Icons, and Big Personalities Take the Floor

One thing Dancing with the Stars always delivers is star power, and this season is no exception. Olympic athletes have historically dominated the ballroom — think back to the legendary runs of gymnasts and speed skaters — and fans are already speculating that another medalist could take home the Mirrorball Trophy. Add in a pop singer or two, a beloved sitcom veteran, and a reality TV superstar with something to prove, and you've got a recipe for must-see Tuesday nights. Athletes tend to bring discipline and stamina, while performers bring stage presence, but the real dark horses are often the unexpected picks: the comedian who can actually move, or the morning-show host who becomes a front-runner out of nowhere.
