Who Is Aryna Sabalenka Boyfriend

Aryna Sabalenka has built a reputation as one of the most ruthless competitors in women's tennis, a woman who crushes opponents with sheer power and refuses to flinch. Yet away from the floodlights, her personal life has been shadowed by tragedy, controversy and whispered speculation. The story of the Belarusian star's romantic entanglements is not a glossy magazine tale — it is a stark reminder that even those who seem invincible on court carry heavy burdens behind closed doors.

Love and Signals: How Her Private Life Stayed Hidden

For years, Sabalenka's private world transmitted only faint signals to the public. Fans and tabloids scrambled to piece together fragments of her relationships, much like chasing a weak wireless connection that flickers in and out. What became clear was that her most significant relationship for a long stretch of her career was with Konstantin Koltsov, a former Belarusian ice hockey player. The pair were together for several years, and he was frequently seen in her player's box, a silent presence during her rise to the summit of the sport.

A Connection Severed: Tragedy in Miami

In March 2024, that connection was severed in the most devastating way imaginable. Koltsov died in Miami at the age of 42, in what authorities described as an apparent suicide. Sabalenka, who was competing at the Miami Open at the time, released a statement speaking of an unimaginable loss and asking for privacy. Reports suggested the couple had already separated before his death, a grim detail that only deepened the darkness surrounding the episode. She chose to continue playing, stepping onto the court days later with grief carved into every fibre of her being — a decision that split public opinion but spoke volumes about her steely resolve.

Moving Into the Shadows of New Romance

Life, cruelly indifferent, marches on. By mid-2024, Sabalenka was photographed with Georgios Frangulis, a Brazilian entrepreneur and founder of a health-food brand, and the two later confirmed their relationship. The contrast between her previous chapter and this new one could not be starker: where there was once silence and sorrow, there now appears warmth and public affection. Frangulis has been spotted supporting her at tournaments, including during her triumphant run to the US Open title in 2024.

The Woman Beneath the Warrior

Ultimately, the question of who Aryna Sabalenka's boyfriend is reveals something more unsettling than gossip. It exposes the fragility that exists beneath her ferocious exterior. She is a woman who has stared into the abyss and kept swinging a racket, who has loved and lost in the harshest possible way, and who has dared to love again. Whatever the future holds, one thing remains certain: Sabalenka's off-court story is every bit as gripping — and as unforgiving — as anything she produces between the lines.
